So, I didn't tell you there was going to be a test did I? I didn't know myself... honest. But this week's block is a test of whether you've mastered piecing HST's (half square triangles) together well -- whatever you're method!
The up side is there aren't a lot of small pieces, its a 12" block when finished, and each sub unit can be easily squared up before assembly... The downside is the block is simply 16 HST arranged together...
Fancy stripes is built upon a square inside a square. I'm hoping we'll all find it a relatively straight forward week.

I think I might be really excited to tackle this one...now that I know what I am doing of course!!
It looks pretty straight forward to me. I think what will be interesting is what everyone does with their selection of fabrics. So I guess time to go check out the stash.
