I am working with very small scraps so can't always follow the exact fabric placement layout - but here is my version of Puss in the Corner. Quick and easy!

Mystery Block - week 14
Another red plaid/green block for my growing collection...
I like the block. Not sure if it was me, but it seems like the center part was a bit large and I had to trim it down - but kept the points in tact, phew!

3 weeks - Evelyn/Starfishy
Week 4 - Odds & Ends - sized up to 12". The outside edge is a bit wavy so I might take it apart and re-sew... but then again that homespun is pretty stretchy and it probably will be just fine once attached to sashing strips.
Mother's Dream - week 5. I used Kathie's simplified directions for the outside edge triangles, thanks Kathie!
Week 9 - Joseph's Delight. I love this block and probably will make more! I like anything that makes a big star design (4 blocks set on angles to each other).

I skipped weeks 6, 7 and 8 so I could just make 12" blocks to add to my collection. Plus week 6 (sickle varation) looks alot like a block I already made.

Another Star - Evelyn/Starfishy
This block had alot of bulk at some of the seam junctions. I decided to iron some of those seams open instead of to the side. Alot of seams for this design actually which makes no sense because really you could get this pattern just as easily with alot less pieces/seams. But look there - I did use a fabric that I keep thinking is soooo ugly for the background - I figured the red plaid was strong enough to carry it off.

My collection of blocks using these colors so far - that little block I made using the waste triangles from week 1 - I think I am going to make a pin cushion out of it.
