Kathie's Ozark Maple Leaf - Wk 39

I'm trying to finish a few of the weeks that I skipped, and this is one block that liked. I just finished raking the last of the maple leaves yesterday, so I thought I'd celebrate by finishing this one. I almost have enough blocks for a full size quilt (30 blocks) and would love to finish it up by the end of the year.

Maple Leaves

I have made this week's block. I am trying to catch up, but realize that it 'ain't gonna happen'. I think I will just keep up with each weekly block and forget about doing the ones I skipped.

I thought I would like Ozark Maple more, but I found it kind of boring. It's very easy - only a few HSTs. The rest is 2 1/2in units. I don't think I am going to make the table runner. One of these is enough for me.

A Fall Block for this Week

Fall is here. So I thought this would be a good block for this season. It's called, 'Ozark Maple Leaf' and it's a 12inch block. There is a cute table runner on the site that uses this block. I wish I had more time!

Are the trees starting to change colour where you are? We are supposed to have a very colourful fall since we had such a hot summer. I'm looking forward to that.
