I got another block finished. This is the one from week 26 - Album.

Waaaay Behind, But Closing In...

Here is my "Album" block from week 26, in the Red, White and Blue colors.

I now have my "Round Tuit" and will be back on track and all caught up very soon! Finished the rest of the FBP blocks required to put the Christmas Lap Quilt together, and sent that off to Kerstin to be quilted... photo when it comes back for binding (before I put it in a box to take out again in November).

"Pigs Might Fly" will show you what I've been up to besides FBP. #8-)

Kathie's Album - Week 26

I really like this week's block. I've been looking for a block to use in setting some 12 inch embroidery blocks I did last winter, and I think this is the one I'll use. If anyone has any of the red/cream Thimbleberries fabric that form the HSTs in my corner blocks, I'd love to get more!!

Shortcut to make the corner blocks easily

Here is a quick trick for making the corner blocks of this week's block easier to make. There are no triangles or bias edges to worry about. I wrote this up for last year's week 15 block, and it applies to this week's as well. Hope it helps.
