Kathie's Flying Squares - Week 11

I was away last week, which is my excuse for not making the frog. It is on my 'to d0' list though because it looks like a fun block. Here are my flying squares. It was easy to put together, and I like the movement. Kathie L in Allentown

A Symbol of Friendship?

I got my sewing machine back! It's fixed, but it doesn't seem to sew the same as it did before I got it fixed. It's like having a whole new machine. But I will get used to it, I'm sure.

I couldn't wait to sew something, so I made this week's block. It's called Flying Squares, but they don't look like they are flying to me. In fact they look very grounded.

And they remind me of this symbol of global friendship.

Now to find my frog and finish it.

This week's block is called, "Flying Squares". It's a 10inch block so it will go with our animal blocks.
