A finished top

While we were on summer break, I took the opportunity to put together nine of the blocks we've made this year into a small throw-sized quilt top. I'd love to get it to my long-arm quilter this month so that I can count it as finished. I tried to arrange them with similar blocks on opposite sides of the center. My sister gave me these fabrics a few years ago for my birthday, so I'm glad I can show her that I've put them to good use. Kathie L in Allentown

This is an awesome sampler quilt! I like how the sashing cornerstones meet up with the border. ANd the colours are so happy!

Very nice Kathie! You have inspired me. Now I want to look for my blocks and do something with them. I love your border too! That just sets those blocks off!
