Eight Hands 'Round was the block for week Ten. The Santa in "shades" appealed to my wierd sense of humor, so I made this block for the last-year's-Christmas-Quilt. This one makes eight... getting closer! I like the small inner star, but not the block in general. Perhaps in a one-block quilt a secondary pattern would imerge and "play nice". I agree that as a standalone this isn't the best block, but you did a nice job with it.
