Another Broken Wheel block
This is one of my favorite quilt blocks and I've always thought I would make a large scrappy bed quilt from this block someday. I have already made a small version using 3" blocks and posted it on my blog today.

I think your addition of the dark around the edges of this block are a great change. It really makes the wheel stand out. Thanks for directing us to your blog.
