Like some other posters, I also liked this block for it's ease of construction and it's look. It can take on different looks depending on where you place the lights and darks. Kathie L in Allentown

This block seems to work best when there is a lot of contrast and you have used just the right colours to get that. The white really stands out against the dark brown, making for a very nice block!
