Like Vicki, I wanted to use a focus fabric in the middle, and so went with all eight points the same. I think this will be made into a table topper with the blue print all around. Sorry I'm late, but I just returned from a wonderful visit to San Francisco where there were actually some beautifully sunny days where I didn't need to wear a sweater. Have a good holiday weekend, and be sure the remember our veterans and current soldiers!

love the focus fabric you chose... and the blue is so fresh and clean feeling with it
I like how the block looks with the blue print around it. It will make up a nice table topper.
