I liked this block because I have an affinity for 'square in a square' patterns. I recently made 240 3 inch ones for Bonnie Hunter's latest mystery quilt (still in progress). So this single one was a snap.

the way the solid picks up the centre colour is wonderful...
Nice colour combo. I guess after making 240 of them, this would be a snap.
Love it! Great use of colour. I dread those square in a square blocks! Maybe I should try Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt. Naw! On second thought, maybe not!
