This was turning out so wonderfully, and then I looked closely and realized a couple of the subunits are turned the wrong way. Arg.
I've taken the block apart and am making a real mess of the reconstruction. double arg.
I've now pulled it apart even further, will press the pieces tomorrow and try re-assembling from basic units. Hopefully I can get the points back to pointy.

Too bad you told us what you did wrong! I certainly hadn't noticed. I kind of like the way it turned out. Love your colours! I hope you will be able to resew it. I had to take a seam out and because there is so much on the bias, it did not go back the way I would have liked it to. Good luck!

I love the colours and when I first looked at it I didn't notice anything was wrong until I read your post. It has a wonderful tropical look to it.
