I agree with many other comments on this block - that is was easy to do, and I like the result. As Hetty said, it would look very nice as a whole quilt with the corner blocks forming a star. I added a border on mine and intend to turn it into a pillow. I hope I don't get demerits for being a day late in posting it!

Your block looks great! I like the borders. It will make a great pillow!
This will make a nice pillow. I like the narrow red border, it really adds a nice spark to the block.
