Made my block! I like this block... fun pattern. I wish I had used my lighter pink for the background, for more contrast between it and the medium pink. It's OK, though.

The dark wine fabric is very striking in this block, ever so rich looking...
I think one thing I'm learning from this weekly exercize that it probably makes sense to make a test block of any quilt before cutting up all the fabric. Like you, I sometimes wish my fabric choices made a more striking impact.
