I'm thanking "my lucky star" this one is done!! What a devil.
In the end it is quite square, basically the right size, and more than "good enough". Wont be hurrying out to ever do another of this pattern though....

Congratulations.
So remember when you go to pull this Friday's block out of the jar if what comes out has a ton of little pieces, things on weird angles or just all around strangeness it goes back in the jar and you pull something out that is more reasonable. I think we all need a break. LOL ;-)
