Giraffe Yuk

OK, this was my week to have a failure. I up-sized it to make it 12 inches, but got some of my math wrong, so the points got lost. I don't like my fabrics choices. And I altered the pattern, because I don't really like the original pattern. But I don't like how I altered it, either. So there you go. My Giraffe Yuk block.

This certainly has been yet another trying week for blocks, but I do like your fabrics.

Seems everybody likes your fabric choices, Carol... me too! 'm really fond of oriental and batik combos. I don't think the pointy bits are awful, either: I think the overall feel of the block is the most important part. Yours is very serene, but if it isn't "perfect" and you hate that part... don't use it.

It looks fine. Love your fabrics! You have created a whole new block - an interesting one that looks great!
