Em's block #2

It's not quite the way I envisioned it. I trying to create movement by the way I placed the fabric. Didn't work. Maybe if I had used colors that contrasted more. Maybe a yellow and a purple with the green and orange. Instead of the pink and blue. And changed a little where I put the x's in relation to the triangles. Who knows it's more work than I want to do to find out.

feels nice and crsip and spring-like with the white background...

I can't tell from your own comments, but are you aware that the pink triangle in upper left "should" be in the upper left corner, and not down near that "x" (QST)? Just wondering if you misplaced it on purpose or by accident. I like the variety of colors, but I would move that pinkie to its proper corner.

I really like it and I am all about varying away from a pattern on purpose just to see where it can take me!

I LOVE the colors you picked out.

I am starting my block tonight.

Thanks for pointing out the wrong placement of the pink. I need to fix that.

Such a softness to your block.

I love the colours and I here you on the grief these little pieces cause. I haven't done much of this kind of work before. I really don't know how some people actully can make queen and king size quilts from these blocks.
