Holiday Weekend!

Hurray!  The first long weekend of the summer!  Here in Canada we are celebrating Canada Day today.  And in the States the holiday will be July 4th on Monday.  I am planning to take in lots of sunshine and do a little BBQ-ing.  There will not be much sewing in my weekend. 
So here is a simple block for this week.  It's called 'Twist and Shout'.  How's that for a great holiday weekend?

Thanks, Hetty. Happy Canada Day to you. We have a cottage on Lake Erie, a bit south of Buffalo. We have a number of Canadians who have cottages there too. As a result, this weekend is filled with family celebrations from both sides of the border. I like this week's block a lot. It's going to be a red,white and blue one for me. Kathie L in Allentown
