My Chicken Block

I used this week's block to make another mug rug. I designed it as a paper piecing block. It measures 6 inches square for the chicken part. I appliqued the comb. Thanks June! These blocks are cute and so much fun to make.

I picked out a black print for my chicken too. It goes back to memories of chickens that my grandmother had.
