Week 52 - Another Year has Come to an End

It's hard to believe that another year of the Block Party has come to an end. Are there still any quilters out there who want to continue. I got a very nice email from a quilters who wants to join us in the new year. She is even willing to take over or help with the weekly blocks. Sounds great, doesn't it?
So here is this week's block. It's called, 'Oh, Susannah'. It's a 12inch block.
I hope you all enjoyed making the blocks this year. Thanks to all who took part in suggesting the blocks, making the blocks and of course all those who took the time to leave comments on the blocks. Without the wonderful folks who comment, we would feel as if we were sewing away in a vacuum. Thanks again for a wonderful year. Wishing you all a very Merry Quilty Christmas and a Healthy, Prosperous and Happy New Year! May your fabric stashes overflow!

Hetty,
I'd continue to make blocks if you post them, but don't do it just for me. I would probably still go to Quilter's Cache to find some interesting blocks. We did a lot of 12 inch blocks this year, and I have enough for a quilt. I'd love to do a bunch of 10 inch blocks in 2011. Thanks, Hetty, for so much fun this year. Kathie L in Allentown

I really enjoyed making the blocks when I was working on my sampler, but next year, I'm going to be all about the UFOs, so I likely won't participate. I do enjoy visiting and seeing what blocks are being sewn :)
