Just having a bit of a catch-up! I've had a problem taking photos of the blocks now that the autumn daylight is getting so dim. The colours were not true and the shadows obvious. I think I've resolved this by making a little quilted mat from plain calico and taking the photo by an open door (kitchen floor) for maximum light. Ros

Good idea about the little mat! I might try it as well... though it won't help my photography skills
