Cross in a Cross

I finished this week's block, 'Cross in a Cross'. Lots of bias pieces, but not difficult at all. It went together in a very short time and I was able to use some of my scraps. I often wonder about the origins of blocks and when they were first constructed. This one sort of looks like it has the letter 'T' on each side. Perhaps it was a temperance block from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Does anyone know?

You can see Mimi's foot in the bottom left. She just has to get into the picture no matter what!

Nice scraps, Hetty! I don't have a clue about the name, but our theory sounds plausable.

Very nice hetty and mimi's has given her paw seal of approval. You are doing such a wonderful job of keeping up, I'm behind yet again. Things are just way too busy here at work and when i get home I'm just so tired that I don't feel like doing anything.
