I fall for this yellow fabric every time! It is bright and cheery and I always forget that it is thin and it can't hold a shape. I'm not sure where I got it but it makes every block it is in all wonky.
Interesting I also had some light yellow fabric that was rather thin and caused problems in blocks. I found that if I starched that fabric it helped in sewing up the blocks. I have to say the yellow works very nicely with your other fabrics.
Welcome to our weekly block party! This is a group blog for sharing our successes and struggles with the week's chosen block. The challenge of completing the weekly block is open to everyone. The block and a link to its online instructions will be posted on Fridays. If you would like to join us, please follow the link to Hetty's blog, or leave a comment on a post indicating you'd like posting priviledges here. I'll be happy to add you as an author -- even if you are only doing some of the blocks :-)
Authors to this blog are asked to label each post with their name and the week# of the block represented by the post. This way we'll all be easily able to see all the blocks for each week as well as all the blocks by any one person. Thanks for your cooperation!

Oh, but the yellow works so well, I think it is worth it!
so claim you were looking for wonky and call it beautiful :-)

May be wonky, but that yellow works so well with the green and orange! Nice choices.
Nice colours, wonky or not. Sometimes wonky is good.
Starch it before you cut! It will make a HUGE difference. I starch all flannels first because of the stretch.
