Thanks for letting me join the party late. I've enjoyed seeing everyone's interpretations of each week's block and am glad to be able to participate. I chose a cheerful blue to get started. The white-on-white really sets it off, but I must admit that I often find it hard to distinguish the front and back of WOW unless the lighting is really good. This block was no exception, I had to 'unsew' one seam. It wasn't the first, and won't be the last. I'm looking forward the weekly choices on Fridays.

hey, just because we're precision piecing here doesn't mean we can't be wonky or less precise when it comes to our fabric -- I think it doesn't matter much with the wow -- some of my pieces are probably used the wrong way too. great block!

I love your pretty block! And welcome to the party. If you have to work that hard to figure out the "right" side of the WOW, don't worry about it if it gets turned wonky. No one will ever notice it in the quilt. That's my philosophy, anyway. Do what's easier so you can move on to the next fun thing. I know this doesn't work with some perfectionist-types. That's not me! I go with what's fun and don't worry about the rest.
