Giraffe Tracks

I'm liking this one more than I expected. I was going to set it with all the points going out, but it looked better this way. I used a paler-than-usual pink for the background and am happy with it.

your sense of colour is so wonderful. I really like how these fabrics all play together, but would neer have thoguht of even trying such a "bright" pink with the cranes... very very effective :-)

very pretty -- it's bright and subtle at the same time!

Nice! I love the colours. And your fabrics are very interesting. I am beginning to like this setting better than the points on the outside too.

Great fabric choices and they work so well together.

The more I see different colour combinations at work they really do have an impact on how various layouts will work. One colour combination will bring a layout together will another combination can just set things enough on edge that it just doesn't work.

You have an amazing sense of what will work, Carol. Beautiful!

You know what's funny? I often don't even *think* about what I'm choosing. Like that bright pink. It was sitting there near my cutting mat, so I just grabbed it and decided "this'll work." So I don't know if I get credit for knowing what will work.. I just grab and go.
