This one was definitely a time-sink! I enlarged it to 12" but there were still the same number of pieces...
Edited to add: I think it might be a little easier to make this block 12" instead of 8" and the math really isn't so hard! The small blocks finish at 1.5" so they're still kind of small.
And the crazy fabric came off the give-away table at my local guild last month. Unfortunately I have the selvage edge without the manufacturer's name, so I don't know who made it.
I'm going to be out of town for a bit and will miss the next 2 Fridays, but I'll catch up when I'm back at the beginning of March.

All I can say is...WOW! What a gorgeous block. To me, it has a festive native american flair to it. Or mexican...maybe Aztec...that's it. I. LOVE. IT.
Be safe and we will miss you. Hurry back!
I love that print!
ooooooo! Great fabric choices! LOVE IT!
Definitely great fabric choices, not your run of the mill fabrics. Who manufactured the print? I don't ever recall seeing it or anything remotely like it.
A real WOW block. Was it easier to do at 12 inches do ya think? Not that I plan to ever make another one......
Great block! Love that fabric!
