Em's block #6

Now this is suppose to be fun, right? And we are learning, right? With that said here is my block # 6.

It is not perfect, but I had fun and I learned a little too. I like this block. And will probably find time to do it again. With a little practice I think I could get it right.

I love your colour combination, it reminds me of summer. I'm glad to hear that you also had fun working on it and learn some stuff since it is all about having some fun and learning something.

At times it seems that we get bogged down but I know that I certainly have learned a lot over the weeks and this will certainly help with any projects that I under take in the future.

I know I learned lots doing this block -- and love the pattern. It'd still take a fair bit more learning before I'd do many of them, but you enver know... :-)

Look at all your nice pointy points! And such sweet springy colors, too. Yup, having fun while honing our skills. I think we are all getting a lot out of this exercise including getting to know some super fun ladies while we share the challenge.

I agree lots of super fun ladies. I must admit I feel I'm cheating a little by waiting to do my block. I learn where all the problems are in the block and what has and hasn't worked from these great ladies.

Re your comment above. I do the same thing, and like you, I feel like I'm cheating. But we're not, we're just learning from some great teachers. As usual, I love your color combinations, and wish we could visit so you could take me fabric shopping. Re your block, it looks flawless to me.
