The Rotunda in Black and Pink

I had a fun time with this block and thought it turned out rather nicely...I am loving the continuation of the black and pinks.

I might do this one again without using fabric that has vertical and horizontal patterns as that is a little difficult for me to keep straight, but over all I really love how this block looks...kinda fun and funky.

I am so excited about the direction this quilt is going in...it will not only be special to my daughter, but a reminder of the special time I spent here every week.

Me again. I just noticed how much the blue sparkles in this block. Looks like glitter.

the pink and bloack have such great contrast -- nothing "wall flower" like in this block :-)

It's interesting how the different fabrics can make the same block look very different. Your tiny check like fabric almost has a look of tweed against the pink fabric. I'm liking the block.

Wow! What a knockout block. Do you plan to combine all the blocks in a top? If so, how do you plan to size them all up to fit together? I'm undecided about trying to do that as yet so I'm wondering what everyone else is planning to do with their finished blocks.
