Well, I started out to make this week's block as shown, but ended up using it just as a starting point. I decided to use two colors rather than just one. Then, instead of making the center a solid square, I made some HSTs and put them there. I don't know if this block has a name, but it is this week's entry for me. I know it's been almost too hot to sew or do anything this summer, but I'd love to see some blocks from other partiers.
