Just to let you know I have made three quilts so far from the 52 blocks made way back, not this years choices, they are from 2009 can you believe. I have really enjoyed getting them done, I have one more quilt to make and that will be a BIG one with the rest of the blocks, I will have a few remaining which I am going to put on the backs as labels.
These were the tiny blocks, I made them larger by adding strips around each block using random fabrics from the ones I had used in the actual blocks, did the same with the border, then went mad with the quilting..

Next I finished the slightly larger blocks, again putting a border round each,
I liked the look of the previous quilt so repeated it, if it works, fine...

Larger still blocks, same form as before, strips round the blocks,
I think it is helping bring them together and that is why I liked it so much...

I have just noticed I used the same fabrics but different colours for the backs,
how strange, I didn't know til I just loaded them on here together...
So that is three done, one more to do, then I will have completed the Quilts and used all 52 blocks.
I do hope everyone doing this year's blocks is having as much fun as I did when making these wonderful blocks. Thank you.
